Seminar, Technical University of Munich, Department of Computer Engineering
Since Winter Term 2020, I am offering topics at the Innovative Internet Technologies and Mobile Communications (IITM) Seminar of the Chair of Network Architectures and Services at the Technical University of Munich. The seminar is offered twice a semester, during the semester and as a block seminar during the break. Goal of the seminar is to conduct a first scientific research on an individual topics provided by different staff members of the chair. Each topic is advised by a research associate of the chair best suited for each topic.
Theses, Technical University of Munich, Department of Computer Engineering
Moreover, I advise together with my colleagues, we advise Bachelor and Master Thesis as well as Guided Research and Interdisciplinary Projects with supporting the students with our expertise. This includes weekly meetings with the respective student, proof-reading results, providing Feedback and guidance. Moreover, our concept include an introduction talk with Prof. Carle, an intermediate Talk, and a Final Talk for all Students.
Pratical Lab Course, Technical University of Munich, Department of Computer Engineering
This practical course teaches the concepts and mechanism building up todays Internet such as IPv4 and IPv6, dynamic Routing, DNS, Linux systems, router, QUIC, and many more. Additionally, we look into the security of systems and the students have a lecture, a pre-course e-learning part and a practical part in our Lab room, where the Students are performing the learned concepts in reality.
I am responsible for writing a new, improved Labsystem, holding lectures such as DNS, DHCP, Fragmentation, NAT, and QUIC as well as for the hardware in the labroom itself. In this course, the focus is on learning practical and theoretical aspects of computer networks.
I am part of the Advisor Team since Winterterm 2020.
